Brief Description

This Wellingborough company are looking for an engineer to assisting in driving sales growth through customer support, training, commissioning, and demonstrations of their semi-automated products. Your duties will be to conduct lab trial demonstrations using preselected products to achieve specified results in line with a customers specifications.

Qualifications Required

3 GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D) ideally including English and maths and science or equivalent

Vacancy Detail

Your main duties will be to conduct lab trial demonstrations using preselected products to achieve specified results in line with a customer’s specification and, to produce detailed lab reports to showcase the systems capabilities.
You will also:

1. Use and interpreting engineering data and documentation.
2. Produce mechanical and electrical engineering drawings using a CAD system.
3. Assemble and test fluid power systems.
4. Prepare and use industrial robots.
5. Maintain mechanical devices and equipment.
6. Maintain Fluid Power Equipment.
7. Assemble wire and test electrical panel/components mounted in enclosures.
8. Resolve any engineering problems.
9. Produce technical information for engineering activities.
10. Provide technical sales and marketing support for engineering activities.
11. Schedule engineering activities.
12. Provide technical advice and guidance on engineering activities once you are fully trained.
13. Develop and maintain effective customer relationships.
14. Work efficiently and effectively in an engineering environment.
15. Comply with statutory regulations and organisation and safety requirements.
