To be considered for this role you will need GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 9-3 (A*-D) including maths and English.

On site experience is desirable

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

Ability to progress within the company. Given more responsibility and a wage to support this.
Potential to be supplied with a company van/truck and fuel card.

Vacancy Detail

JHF are looking for a Level 2 Carpenter apprentice, with the opportunity to progress on to Level 3. The successful candidate will be working on First Fix and Second Fix Carpentry covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & surrounding areas.
Main duties will include:

First Fix Carpentry includes:
-Studwork
-Floating floors
-Staircases
-Windows and window boards,
-Exterior doors and internal door linings
-Mid/Full height bathroom boxing’s

Second Fix Carpentry includes:
-Internal hardwood and softwood doors
-Architraves to door linings
-Skirting and mouldings
-Pre-formed door sets
-Staircase components
-Low level bathroom boxing’s
-Training on roof carpentry will also be provided
