Brief Description
An exciting accountancy role has become available within this Kettering nursery, they are looking for an apprentice to join their busy accounts payable team. You will help to support the accounts payable manager with the day to day processing functions of accounts payable function.
Qualifications Required
You will need to have GCSE's grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths, or equivalent.
Preferable, but not essential - Experience with Xero or another accounting system and proficiency in MS Excel

Training to be Provided
During this apprenticeship, you will study the following topics: General business, understanding your organization, accounting systems, basic accounting, ethical standard, IT systems, communication and team working.
On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship and an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2).

The business intends to allow the applicant the opportunity to move onto another role within the finance team at a suitable juncture once a role becomes vacant subject to team expansion plans - this is a growing business

This is an exciting time to join Kindred Nurseries as Accounts Payable Apprentice, you will be an integral member of a dedicated Finance team of eight. You will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and will liaise with all members of the finance team, as well as various colleagues across the group.

Your duties will include:-
To administer the Accounts Payable function across our multi-site business (this will be your main responsibility)
You will be verifying, coding, posting and paying invoices
Respond to supplier queries through mailbox system
Process company prepaid card system, resolving queries and obtaining copy documentation as required
Produce regular reconciliations across multiple bank accounts
From time to time, you may be required to support the wider Finance team in ad-hoc analysis and project work as required
