Brief Description : York House Meat Products are looking for an Engineering apprentice to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.


Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades 9-4 ( A*-C ) or Level 1 equivalent, ideally including English, Math's and a Science

The role will involve:
- maintenance of manufacturing plant and equipment
- lubrication of assets
- fabrication of equipment
- welding
- assisting other team members/team work
- electrical fault finding and repairs
- supporting during breakdowns
- completing planned maintenance tasks using PPM software,
Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40hrs pw Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm
Salary : £ 200.00 (Weekly)

Training to be Provided : Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3
EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing
EAL Level 2 Award for Foundation Phase Gateway Assessment
EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering - Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Pearsons Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
Other Information : This is a food manufacturing plant and the shop floor areas are chilled, you are also surrounded by raw meat so the candidates must feel comfortable in working in such an environment.

Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
