Brief Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small family run company which is already one of the largest push button switch suppliers in the UK. The main role of the candidate will be to assist sales engineers' with data entry, market research and once they have completed their in-house product training, they will start to have their own clients.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will need GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent including English and maths.

Skills Required

Interest in Electronics / Design Technology desired but not essential

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualifications:
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Fuctional Skills in maths and English (if required).

You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, Record and document production, Decision making, Planning and organisation, Project management, Policies, Relevant regulations, Stakeholders, Processes and external environment factors.

Future Prospects

*Potential pay rise after the first month probation and after three month probation*

Potential full time employment in Technical sales internal or external after completion of the apprenticeship.

Main roles and responsibilities:
• Sending orders
• Stock check
• Filing and archiving
• Taking calls and directing calls to the correct department
• Process enquiries and queries
• Maintaining digital customer records
• Interact with potential new clients via phone and email
• Sending quotes & samples to support the sales department
• Travel to trade shows and support sales department with customer visits
• Generate new business through researching potential leads and new market industries of interest

This apprenticeship has expired
