Brief Description
S P Marks Building Contractors is a small family run building contractor specializing in domestic improvements across Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties. They are seeking x 2 apprentices to support with growth within the business undertake all aspects of building works alongside their trained team.
Qualifications Required
You will need to have GCSE grades 9-3 (A*- D) in English and maths, or equivalent.

- Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

Possibility of progression or a full time position may be offered on successful completion of your apprenticeship.

- Plumbing & Heating (Not Gas Works)
- Carpentry (Studwork, Door Hanging, 2nd Fix, Floor Laying)
- Studwork and Drylining
- Floorboarding
- Joist alterations and installations
- Door frames
- Door hanging
- Skirting, architraves
- Boxing in
- Floor laying
- Window installation
- Fascias and guttering
- Fencing
You will also be:
- Plastering (Skimming, Drylining, Dot & Dab, Bonding)
- Wall & Floor Tiling
- Bathroom, Wetroom & Shower Room Fit Outs
- Kitchen Fitting
- Decorating
- Groundwork
- Landscaping
- Bricklaying
The employer is looking for an apprentice who can travel to Raunds. You will then be working across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
