Brief Description

*A September start*
As a HR apprentice at Millbrook Proving Ground you will have the ability to make an impact on the business by providing strong administrative support to the HR's Talent and Development team.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 (A*-C) including maths and English.

Competent IT skills (mainly Microsoft Office including Word & Excel)

Training to be Provided

HR Practice Foundation CIPD Level 3 Certificate and HR Support Apprenticeship Level 3 and Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required). You will also study a range of topics including: Understanding Organisations, Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information, Resourcing Talent, Performance and Reward Management, Managing Employee Relations, Developing Yourself as an Effective HR Practitioner.

As a HR apprentice at Millbrook Proving Ground you will have the ability to make an impact on the business by providing strong administrative support to the HR's Talent and Development team.

This role will allow you to develop your skills and apply learning in a sensible and practical way to a wide range of activities including:

• Supporting the creation of job descriptions for new recruits
• Arrange interviews and candidate assessments
• Utilising job boards and social media to advertise vacancies
• Support with branding/marketing to help buildMillbrook to become an ‘Employer of Choice’
• Support with the annual intake of Apprentices, Undergraduates and the Graduate scheme’s
• Assist with organising and attending recruitment events
• Ensure all new starters are on-boarded efficiently & support all HR administration relating to this
• Update employee data on our systems
• Cross check recruitment & HR related invoices
• Management of tracking systems in line with GDPR guidelines
• Support with managing up to date recruitment & HR compliance trackers
• Administration support for Training and Learning & Development programmes
• Maintain training and development records
• Enabling progression and continuous professional development
• Book training rooms and ensure they are set up correctly
• Prepare and distribute training/L&D material and support follow up/feedback admin
• Update the HR skills matrix & training
• Support with any project activities
