Brief Description
Grove Electrical UK Ltd is an established family run electrical contracting company based in Thurleigh, Bedford and looking to recruit an Installation Electrician Apprentice Apprentice.
Qualifications Required
We would prefer 1 years attendance on an electrical based course or work placement .
You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4, including English, maths and science, or equivalent.
Personal Qualities
Time keeping , Politeness, Good work ethic, Can follow instructions
Skills Required
Motivation and Communication skills. Keen eye for detail. Keen to learn and progress within the electrical sector.
Training to be Provided
You will gain the following qualifications:
- Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma
- AM2 (Practical Assessment)
- Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT (dependant on previous qualification).
You will also study a range of topics, including: Working effectively and safely in an Electrotechnical environment, Principles of Electrotechnology, Application of health and safety and electrical principles and Installation practices and theory

Grove Electrical UK Ltd is an established family run electrical contracting company based in Thurleigh, Bedford and looking to recruit an Installation Electrician Apprentice Apprentice.
We are looking for a hardworking , self-motivated individual for electrical installation work that will be looking to attend college and gain a full electrical apprenticeship.
We are considering anyone who has the drive and determination to become a good electrician/ tradesman.
This role would be best suited to a person with motivation to learn, good time keeping and reliability and a hardworking nature.
Please note I am looking for a first or second year apprentice, Must be dedicated and willing to learn.
Would be an advantage to hold a driving license.
Range of jobs to include but not limited to:
• Handle with precision different tools and equipment
• Maintain work log in accordance with company procedure
• Service tools and equipment
• Install electrical installations under supervision as a team
• Assist the troubleshooting and repair of electrical installations and components
Other Information
Location to us in Thurleigh, Bedford, you will be required to travel to the site daily (Own transport is recommended)
Early mornings are often required due to the contracts we work and the location of these.
This role can be varied including elements of property maintenance due to contracts.
We work in domestic and commercial properties.
