Qualifications Required

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4, including English and maths (or equivalent)

During this apprenticeship you will study a range of topics, including:

Communication
Health intervention
Person centered support and planning
Dementia, cognitive and mental health issues
Personal and people development
Activities for daily living

The apprenticeship will comply of Knowledge and Skills and behaviours:

Dental and regional anatomy
Respiratory and circulatory systems
Transmissions of infectious diseases and their prevention
Material equipment and resources
Medical emergencies
Legislative compliance
GDC guidelines
