Brief Description : As an apprentice at Swift Mortgages you will be working closely with a mortgage and protection advisor on a day to day basis. You will assist with administration and office work within the business in order to help develop and grow the business as a whole.

 

Qualifications Required : You will need four GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4, or equivalent including English and maths.
Vacancy Detail : As an apprentice at Swift Mortgages you will be working closely with a mortgage and protection advisor on a day to day basis. You will assist with administration and office work within the business in order to help develop and grow the business as a whole.

Working as an apprentice you will be managing the administration tasks involved in a mortgage broker's business. This involves working to meet specified deadlines, collecting and processing sensitive data as well as being the first point of contact for new and existing customers . The candidate will be responsible for updating the Swift Mortgages website, updating blog posts, researching data for social media campaigns and various other duties.
There will be a requirement for the successful apprentice to work with various business systems (which will be taught) including:

Accounting software
Customer relationship management (CRM) software
Quoting (pricing) tools
Data sharing systems
Social Media platforms

The successful candidate will assist with the organisation of business networking events and will have the opportunity to attend various networking events throughout the year.

Salary : £205.00 Per Week

Future Prospects : There is a long-term position available if the apprentice successfully completes the apprenticeship and is happy.
If they enjoy the work then there is also the option for them to train as a mortgage advisor and join my business on the basis of being an advisor earning commission as well as salary.
Training to be Provided : Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship plus Level 2 Fuctional Skills in maths and English (if required). You will also study a range of topics including: IT, Record and document production, Decision making, Planning and organisation, Project management, Policies, Relevant regulations, Stakeholders, Processes and external environment factors.
Other Information : The apprentice's role will be based within an office however will involve travelling to various networking events.
Working hours are flexible as long as the individual is working 40 hours each week. The occasional weekend may be required to work however this will be discussed in advance.

Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online Maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
Things to consider : The learner needs to have access to public transport or a car in order to get to and from the office as well as to and from any local events.
