Brief Description
This is an opportunity to join our company as an Operational Apprentice where you will develop within the Service Operations Department as well as working across a range of other departments to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications Required
Candidates must hold or be predicted A*-C / 4 - 9 in GCSE Maths and English or a Level 2 equivalent

The successful candidate must have a dynamic work attitude and the ability to work as part pf a team as well as having a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Vacancy Detail
This is an opportunity to join our company as an Operational Apprentice where you will develop within the Service Operations Department as well as working across a range of other departments to enhance your knowledge. and skills such as the Supply Chain, Scheduling, Customer Support and Customer Relationship Management Departments.
These placements are designed to give you exposure to the different operational areas within our critical power service business to develop into a skilled and knowledgeable employee, with the aim of becoming one of our future business managers within our operational business.
In the first year you will complete a Level 2 Customer Service qualification followed by a Level 3 Business Administration and then progressing to a Level 3 Team Leader over the period of 4 years.
Your day to day tasks will differ dependent on the department you are working in. Typical tasks will include:
The raising of purchase orders, scheduling of engineers, dispatching of emergency pares, speaking to customers / engineers and proactively learning to manager large customer's assets.
Managing your customer's expectations to the pre-defined levels of service
Gaining experience with the business operating systems
Gaining experience o the business operating processes and the inter departmental communications
You will be given the opportunity to interact with mentors, customers, all service operations departments, service sales, sub contract service providers and suppliers.
The salary level will commence at £19,768 rising in January each year (subject to performance) up to £24,626 at the end of the 3.5 – 4 year program.

Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online Maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria.
