Brief Description
Working within the financial processing department which will include involvement with collecting cash, processing invoices, reconciling banks and intercompany transactions
Qualifications Required
You will need at least a grade 9/A* - 4/C in maths and English.
Personal Qualities
Eager to learn and good attention to detail, and hard working.
Skills Required
Good communication, IT literate, a keen interest in accounts.
Training to be Provided

Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship
Level 2 AAT qualification if all exams are taken

Future Prospects
The successful applicant will get a good grounding in all elements of Finance within the organisation and could result in a move to another part of the finance team if there is a role available. Charles Wells would like to support the right applicant through to the end of their AAT study – if a full-time role is available at that point then applicant would be able to apply
Vacancy Detail
Working within the financial processing department which will include involvement with collecting cash, processing invoices, reconciling banks and inter company transactions
• Taking Customer Payments
• Allocation of Payments to Customer Accounts
• Speaking with Customers
• Processing Proof of Deliveries and raising Customer Invoicing
• Processing Supplier Invoices
• Matching purchase orders against invoices
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Processing France intercompany payments
• Assisting with intercompany reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation and other treasury tasks.
Other Information
The successful candidate will work towards AAT level 2 and then progress on to level 3.
