Brief Description

Memcon are looking for a bubbly and confident Business Administration Apprentice to join our Memcon team where you will take part in general administration tasks, database management and customer support.

Qualifications Required

You will need four GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4, or equivalent including English and maths.

Training to be Provided

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship plus Level 2 Fuctional Skills in maths and English (if required) and Level 2 Functional Skills in ICT. You will also study a range of topics including: IT, Record and document production, Decision making, Planning and organisation, Project management, Policies, Relevant regulations, Stakeholders, Processes and external environment factors.

Over time we are looking for the appropriate candidate to develop the skills and knowledge to become an integral member of our team providing Business Administration and Customer Services Support to our customers and associated companies located around the world

Memcon are looking for a bubbly and confident Business Administration Apprentice to join our Memcon team where you will take part in general administration tasks, database management and customer support.

Business Admin/Supplier Invoicing/Credit Control
1. Processing Supplier Invoices
2. Processing Customer Invoices
3. Preparing in envelopes and franking statements
4. Chasing outstanding payments/Invoice queries
5. Processing Customer Orders/Shipments
6. Checking and booking in inward shipments
7. Liaising with couriers both inward and outward ensuring smooth and timely deliveries
8. Placing orders with suppliers and following up as necessary
9. Chasing supplier for delivery and shipment confirmation
10. Processing inter-company and associated company invoices and documentation

General Office Administration

1. Typing letters and responding to emails in support of sales team
2. Answering the telephone as the first point of contact for the Company
3. Collection and distribution of faxes, responding where necessary
4. Receiving visitors to the premises
