Brief Description
We are an engineering company working within the printing industry supplying machines to the UK and worldwide. We are now looking for an Apprentice Milling Machine and Lathe Operator to join our team in St Neots.
Qualifications Required
Candidates must hold GCSE A*-C / 4-9 or hold a Level 2 equivalent in English and Maths
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who has a good work ethic and is both punctual and reliable
Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have a natural ability for mechanical work and competent IT skills
Training to be Provided
The qualifications you will study to achieve will depend on your chosen pathway, and include:
NVQs (work-based learning)
Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma
Engineering Maintenance NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma
Fabrication and Welding Engineering NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma
Engineering Technical Support NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma.
Technical Certificates (classroom-based learning)
Fabrication and Welding Engineering Technology Level 3 Diploma
EAL Engineering Technology Level 3 Diploma.

We are an engineering company working within the printing industry supplying machines to the UK and worldwide. We are now looking for an Apprentice Milling Machine and Lathe Operator to join our team in St Neots.
As an apprentice with us you will be trained as a machine operator using manual and CNC Machines
Initial tasks will be:
•To assist in production engineering tasks including the running of CNC machines
•Inspection
•Quality
•Assembly
•Stores
Longer term it will be to specialise in the setting and programming of CNC turning and milling machines, to be fully cohesive with the reading of technical drawings and inspection processes.
Other Information
Due to our location there is no public transport so candidates will need to be able to drive.
