Brief Description : As an Apprentice with Elma Electronics you will be trained in the practice of manufacturing across a variety of different products for basic cabling, cut / strip and identification and termination through to copy wiring of fully integrated systems.
Qualifications Required : You must hold A*-C 9/4 in Maths, English and Science or equivalent qualifications
Vacancy Detail : As an Apprentice with Elma Electronics you will be trained in the practice of manufacturing across a variety of different products for basic cabling , cut / strip and identification and termination through to copy wiring of fully integrated systems over a period of time
Over a period of two years the initial first six months will be spent training, understanding how the business works, spending time within the logistics and Engineering department. Stage two will be a progression within the manufacturing sector under a planned training program where you will learn basic wiring through to target level of a copy GA / Wire operator building fully integrated systems. You will also cover the following:
You will spend time within stores, goods in and dispatch. This stage will allow you to get a full understanding of the variety of parts used by the business. Basic training will also be provided within the companies ERP system.
Training will be provided for both base and fully-integrated products.
Design Capabilities and solutions
The candidate will have basic training in the use of advanced design software to create models for new and existing projects which are progressed through to the shop-floor and used as build guides.
Customization is the standard at Elma. With an extensive range of standard products as a foundation, we are able to leverage existing solutions and proven design concepts to meet any custom application.

The candidate will be put on a 18 month training program across all areas of the main shop-floor

Salary : £160.00 Per Week
