Brief Description

GLHolland Heating and Plumbing are looking for a hardworking and competent individual who would like to learn and develop their career in a high-end plumbing environment.

Qualifications Required

- 1 years experience through work experience or through college
- CSCS Card preferable

You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades A*-D or 9-3, including English and maths, or Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths, or equivalent.

Training to be Provided

Plumbing City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma plus Functional Skills (if required). You will study a range of topics including: Building services engineering
Environmental protection measures, Scientific principles, Pipework processes, Cold water system installation and maintenance techniques
Hot water system installation and maintenance techniques, Central heating system installation and maintenance techniques
Rainwater system installation and maintenance techniques, Above ground drainage system installation and maintenance techniques

Vacancy Detail

The role will involve working on professional and luxury building sites as well in peoples homes. The successful applicant will have an eye for detail, and patience with making sure a job is completed to its best standard. Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required within a reasonable radius of Bedfordshire.

• General Plumbing - including, leaks, burst pipes, tap repairs, toilet repairs, shower repairs
• Hot works procedures are understood and followed
• The ability to understand and interpret work instructions
• Be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships

Other Information

- ability to drive is preferable, although most days travel will be together in the company van.
- 30mins per day for lunch
- start/finish times may vary
