Brief Description

The individual will gain the skills required to become a member of our warehouse / production team.

Qualifications Required

English level C/4 or above
Mathematics level C/4 or above

or Equivalent

Training to be Provided

Warehousing & Storage Level 2 Certificate plus….Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Functional Skills in maths and English (if required). You will also study a range of topics including: Health, safety and security, Receiving goods and materials into storage, Maintaining the quality of goods in storage, Dispatching goods and materials, Auditing stock levels and stock inventories, Picking stock and assemble orders, Processing returned goods
Maintaining the safety of high risk goods, Lifting, transferring & positioning goods, Modifying systems for distributing stock

Future Prospects

Warehouse person / production operator with skills to progress to supervisor.

PAY SCALE FOR THIS ROLE:
16 – 17 years old - £162 / week
18 – 20 years old - £219 / week
21 and above - £273 / week

Other Information

Salary will be based upon age and increased each year.
