Brief Description : Based in the centre of Ampthill, Renesons Hair and Beauty are an established salon who are now offering an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Level 2 Apprentice.
Qualifications Required : You will need to have three GCSE's (or equivalent) A* - D
Vacancy Detail : Based in the centre of Ampthill, Renesons Hair and Beauty are an established salon who are now offering an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Level 2 Apprentice. We offer great team spirit and a forward thinking environment; as well as in-house training you will attend college one day a week.
Duties will be varied, but will include the following:
- Carry out reception duties including answering the telephone, arranging appointments and operate the computer in a professional manner
- Shampooing and conditioning clients
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy and making refreshments.
- Ensure products are stored correctly
- Work effectively in a team
- Make sure towels and supplies are ready for use
- Keep the salon clean and tidy at all times.
- At the days end, ensure the salon, work stations and equipment is clean and ready for the next day

Salary : £160.00 Per Week

Future Prospects : To progress onto the Level 3 Hairdressing course and become a successful stylist as part of our creative team in the future.
Training to be Provided : You will be working towards your NVQ Hairdressing City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma(Professional) as well as Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Functional skills in English and Maths.
Other Information : 40 hours to be worked over the hours of: (to include your College attendance as well)
Monday 9.00am - 5.30pm
Tuesday 9.00am - 5.30pm
Wednesday 9am - 7.30pm
Thursday 9.00am- 5.30pm
Friday 9.00am - 7.30pm
Saturday 8.30am- 5.30pm
Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
