Brief Description

To work within a team of 6 HR staff to undertake a wide range of duties to support the HR team and our schools across the Trust including assisting in the processing of payroll and administration, sickness absence processes and recruitment and selection.

Qualifications Required

Minimum of GCSE A-C/9-4 in English and maths.

Skills Required

Experience in the production of documents and the collation and maintenance of information.
Good standard of IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, email and internet.
Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills and able to deal courteously and helpfully with staff at all levels.

Training to be Provided

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship plus Level 2 Fuctional Skills in maths and English (if required) and Level 2 Functional Skills in ICT. You will also study a range of topics including: IT, Record and document production, Decision making, Planning and organisation, Project management, Policies, Relevant regulations, Stakeholders, Processes and external environment factors.

Future Prospects

Opportunity to continue to progress career within Human Resources and undertake CIPD HR Level 3 qualification.

Vacancy Detail

To work within a team of 6 HR staff to undertake a wide range of duties to support the HR team and our schools across the Trust including assisting in the processing of payroll and administration, sickness absence processes and recruitment and selection.

Supporting the HR Assistant to ensure payroll information for all staff across the Trust is processed on a monthly basis and to required deadlines.
To ensure all personnel and payroll information is recorded and maintained on the appropriate databases.
Co-ordination of sickness absence procedure ensuring the process is carried out in a fair and consistent manner.
Processing staff leavers ensuring all paperwork is completed to the required deadlines.
General HR duties.

Other Information

Commitment to a 18 month training programme which is based on practical work experience and work place assessment.

This apprenticeship has expired
