Brief Description

To work within a HR team of 6 staff undertaking a wide range of duties to support the HR team and our 5 schools across the trust.

Qualifications Required

Evidence of high achievement in GCSE qualifications including minimum GCSE A-C/8-4.
A- Levels desirable but not essential.

Skills Required

Evidence of high achievement in GCSE qualifications including minimum GCSE A-C/8-4.
Experience of producing documents accurately and professionally, experience of data input,
Good standard of IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, email and internet)
Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail

Training to be Provided

HR Practice Foundation CIPD Level 3 Certificate and HR Support Apprenticeship Level 3 and Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required). You will also study a range of topics including: Understanding Organisations, Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information, Resourcing Talent, Performance and Reward Management, Managing Employee Relations, Developing Yourself as an Effective HR Practitioner.

Vacancy Detail

To work within a HR team of 6 staff undertaking a wide range of duties to support the HR team and our 5 schools across the trust.

Within this job role you will work largely within recruitment and selection - preparing job adverts, job descriptions and person specs as well as completing interview and new starter administration. Obtaining references and arranging DBS clearance. This role will also involve taking minutes and typing letters up, electronic filing, supporting payroll processing and sickness absence processing, using database management as well as completing leaver administration.

Other Information

The course will involve studying for the CIPD Level 3 HR qualification at Bedford College one evening per week 5-9 pm from Sept to May and applicants must be willing to commit to this.
