Brief Description

Predominately Maintenance based you will actively learn how to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a production site. You will complete placements in areas of the business to include; Maintenance, Injection Mould Processing & Design & Development.

Qualifications Required

You must have 5 GCSE’s or equivalent grades A*-C including Maths and English or BTEC equivalent subjects such as Maths, Science, English and Design & Technology. A-Levels in related subjects would be beneficial.

As part of the maintenance team you will be responsible for making sure the site machinery, services and equipment run smoothly by working on preventative and emergency maintenance.

Working with and learning from our Process Technician’s in the injection moulding team you will actively contribute to ongoing continuous improvement projects and suggest and action improvements to the performance of injection moulding and assembly machines with a view to increasing output, improving quality and reducing spoilage.

You will also learn how to ensure the company quality standards are maintained, so final component quality being delivered to our customers remains high.

Within the product design & development team you will learn about the development of new product design and how to modify existing products for Standard & Custom components, including management of projects from the creation of initial concept through to full production.

Working within a fast paced production environment this is a demanding position where you will be expected to work quickly and efficiently without compromising safety and quality.
