Brief Description

Elite Lawn Solutions Ltd is looking for a landscaper apprentice.

Qualifications Required

Good basic education.
Maths and English Level 1 minimum

Personal Qualities

Polite, enthusiastic, hard working, reliable, trustworthy, good communication skills, be enthusiastic, and have a strong work ethic.

Skills Required

- Customer service skill.
- A keen eye for detail
- Hold a full UK driving license is desirable, but not essential
- Building knowledge would be beneficial, but not essential.

Training to be Provided

Level 2 Apprenticeship in either Horticulture or Landscape Operative. Plus: Emergency First Aid at Work, Level 2 Safe use of handling and application of pesticides, Functional Skills in English & maths (if required). You will also study a range of topics to include: Health and Safety, Business Skills, Machinery, Plant and Soil Science, and Plant health.

Due to the continued growth of our company we are looking for workers who are capable of been trained by our experienced staff to complete jobs efficiently and of a high quality. This is a physically demanding role, to be carried out in all weathers to deliver the projects on time.

The right candidate will receive full training and could progress onto a management role.

Duties will include:

• Artificial grass installation
• Decking
• Ground works
• Paving
• Turfing
• Brickwork
• Some construction of water features
• Fencing
• Patio work
• Planting
