Brief Description : To support the PA to Chief Executive & Senior Business Management Support Officer and Business Management Support Officers to deliver a comprehensive administrative support to the Management Team of Bedford Borough Council.
Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of four GCSEs or equivalent grade A*-C/9-4, including English and maths.

Main duties will include:
- Making teas/coffees for guests
- Meet and greet guests for Management Team
- Undertake administrative duties for the PA to Chief Executive & Senior Business Management Support Officer and Business Management Support Officers
There will be a one week trial period before an official offer is made to the successful candidate.

Working Week : 37 hours per week
Salary : £160.00 Per Week

Future Prospects : The potential to take up a post of a Business Management Support Officer
Training to be Provided : Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship plus Level 2 Fuctional Skills in maths and English (if required) and Level 2 Functional Skills in ICT. You will also study a range of topics including: IT, Record and document production, Decision making, Planning and organisation, Project management, Policies, Relevant regulations, Stakeholders, Processes and external environment factors.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW)
£8.21 per hour (if 25 or over)
£7.70 per hour (if aged 21 to 24 years)
£6.15 per hour (if aged 18 – 20 years)
£4.35 per hour (if under 18 years but above the compulsory school age)
Candidates must attend an initial interview with a member of the Bedford College Apprenticeship Recruitment Team and complete an online Maths and English test which will be sent out prior to your initial interview if you meet the entry criteria. Please note this is part of the recruitment process and must be completed in order for your application to be progressed to the next stage.
