Brief Description
This is an excellent opportunity a potential Apprentice who would like to pursue a career as a Landscaping Operatives You must be able to carry out physical work and happy to work outside in all weathers.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for the role you must have A*-D GCSE Maths and English or grades 9-3 or equivalent
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is motivated, dedicated and conscientious. You will enjoy working in different environments and physically challenging work.
Skills Required
An interest in gardening or landscaping would be beneficial - all training will be provided to the successful applicants
Being able to work with a team and have good communication
Being polite as you will be customer facing in most of these roles
Being physically fit and able to carry out manual jobs when required
Training to be Provided
You will be working towards your Work-Based Horticulture NPTC Level 2 Diploma as well as the following:
Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 Award
Functional Skills in English and Maths.
You will also have the opportunity to take additional qualifications including the Pesticide Application

Vacancy Detail
This is an excellent opportunity for a potential Apprentice who would like to pursue a career as a Landscaping Operative. You must be able to carry out physical work and happy to work outside in all weathers.
The position will include working within our established team to provide assistance in all of our operations which include grounds maintenance and landscaping in the Bedford area for our residential and commercial clients.
Your general day to day duties will include:
• Weeding, grass and edge cutting
• Shrub and flower bed maintenance
• Digging and preparing the ground
• Mixing concrete
• Laying paving slabs
• Operating grounds maintenance machinery such as lawn mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers under supervision and after appropriate training
Other Information
All work will be outside and physical.
