Brief Description

Ayles Group are looking for a new Plumbing Apprentice to work towards their Level 2 Plumbing qualification.

Qualifications Required

Working towards first year completion of Level 2 Plumbing NVQ.

You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades A*-D or 9-3, including English and maths, or Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths, or equivalent.

Training to be Provided

You will gain the following qualification:

Plumbing City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma

During this apprenticeship you will study a range of topics, including:
•Building services engineering
•Environmental protection measures
•Scientific principles
•Pipework processes
•Cold water system installation and maintenance techniques
•Hot water system installation and maintenance techniques
•Central heating system installation and maintenance techniques
•Rainwater system installation and maintenance techniques
•Above ground drainage system installation and maintenance techniques

Vacancy Detail

Ayles Group are looking for a new Plumbing Apprentice to work towards their Level 2 Plumbing qualification.

Main duties may include:
• modification and installation of equipment, distribution, appliances, apparatus, fixtures and fittings.
• minor service isolations, connections and disconnections of electrical supplies associated with mechanical components.
• surveying, inspection and testing of mechanical distribution, equipment and fixtures, identifying hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair
• Engineering drawings and using a variety of instruments and techniques
• Materials identification, scheduling and requisition

For 18+ candidates, the pay will start at £172.00 p/w.

Other Information

This position will sometimes involve early morning starts and or late days.
Any applicants should be prepared for this as punctuality is crucial to this role. Will also at times involve working further afield as are not restricted to just Milton Keynes and may at times involve stopping over in hotels for jobs further away.
