Brief Description

Qualifications Required

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades A*-C including English and maths and ICT
AS level/A-level and Btec Level 3 qualification or lower than Level 3 qualification **undergraduates and master level qualification are not suitable for this programme**

•Final Accounts Preparation
•Management Accounting Costing
•Indirect Tax
•Ethics for Accountants
•Spreadsheets for Accounting
•Advanced synoptic assessment

Setting up sales, purchase and nominal ledgers and keeping them up to date as required using kashflow
Posting sales and purchase invoices, credit notes, generating customers and suppliers monthly statements/reports.
Processing bank payments, receipts and bank reconciliation.
Preparation and submission of VAT return to HMRC.
Maintain filing system and keeping it up to date in alphabetical order.
Maintaining monthly and quarterly journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and other control accounts.
Preparation of final trial balance.
Preparation of monthly management information and submissions
Daily Payroll and attending to payroll queries liasing with umbrella companies

Entry requirements:

Age between 16 to 24
GCSE: including Maths , English, ICT, Btec level 1 and 2
Functional skills would be provided to improve grades for Maths and English
AS level/A-level and Btec Level 3 qualification or lower than Level 3 qualification (undergraduates and master level qualification are not suitable for this programme)
Eligibility to live in the UK (Resident permit and Biometric card)
